With its wide open space and tables spaced far apart, Woods Smokehouse Restaurant in Busay, Cebu City meets the proper ventilation requirement necessary for dining out during these pandemic times.

The panoramic view of the Cebu coastline from the mountainside stop is also breathtaking.

Woods Smokehouse has two levels of dining space that make the most of the wooded surroundings. It is located just a few meters past the entrance to Maria Luisa Subdivision from the Lahug area.

From the ground area, a set of steps lead down to the lower level. For even more private dining, there’s also a private area good for one small group that’s set off from the other levels.

The restaurant serves smoked and grilled fish and meat for mains as well as pasta, soup, and rice specialties. It also has a selection of breakfast dishes.

During our afternoon visit, we ordered the bread with olive oil and balsamic herb dip and cinnamon toast. We asked for coffee but too bad, they were only serving tea.

The Woods Smokehouse Facebook page says the restaurant opens at 10:30 a.m.
