For today and tomorrow, October 5 and 6, 2020, PRA is holding the second installment of “Rethinking Our Business and Repurposing Our Facilities for Survival and Sustenance #Diskarte.” The webinars are scheduled throughout the holding of The Great Cebu Sale (TGCS) 2020 from September 15-October 31.

The group calls on such sectors as Hardware, IT & Home Stores, Restos, Bake/Coffee Shops, Gasoline Stations, Spa and Salons, Gyms, Academes, Online Sellers, and other retailers to grab the opportunity and join the free webinar.

The webinar series are being overseen by trainer and resource speaker Francisco Dela Cruz, who is from Bocaue, Bulacan. He has a total of 35 years working experience, 17 of which were spent in different countries in the Middle East. His various roles included being Hospitality Training Manager of Sheraton Hotel in Kuwait – a 5-Star Luxury Collection Hotel and Retail Training Manager of Alshaya Retail Group in the Middle East. His work experiences in the Philippines included being a Branch Manager (or Senior Retail Operations Manager) of many SM Stores in the Philippines, a Planning and Budget Analyst at Philippine National Oil Company, and Evening Professor of Business Management and Marketing at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

According to Camille Aldeguer, TGCS chair, said they will be tapping event organizers and wedding planners for a possible collaboration with hotels, resorts, and restaurants to bring in more guests to hold events and functions.

“It should be a welcome development for hotels that hold functions; however, mass gatherings are still prohibited,” PRA-Cebu Chapter President Chester Lim said.
