Cebu residents warned: Wear masks, stay indoors

STAY INSIDE. That’s the advice of the environment department with the smaze or smoke and haze over Cebu. The photo above was taken Thursday before the smaze worsened earlier today.

Thick smaze or a combination of smoke and haze has blanketed parts of Visayas and Mindanao and residents in these areas should wear masks to protect themselves and limit their time and activities outdoors, the weather and environment agencies warned.
