IT was a night of fun and entertainment as SYKES Cebu marked its 15th anniversary at the Grand Hall of SYKES Synergis last July 20.
More than 800 SYKES employees joined the celebration made more exciting by the presence of It’s Showtime Hashtag member Zeus Collins as special guest.
The event opened with an energetic opening number courtesy of the SYKES Talent Circle, SYKES Cebu’s homegrown dance group.
This was followed by a rousing welcome from SYKES Cebu’s Head of Operations and Vice President of Area Operations and Shared Services John Sneed.
“Congratulations to everybody here. I thank you all for this. You earned this,” he said in his message.
SYKES Involve, the umbrella organization for SYKES Cebu’s various interest clubs, graced the stage and treated everyone to a sneak preview of their talents and hobbies.
One by one, the Basketball Club, Volleyball Club, Oh Pets Club, Outdoor Club, Anglers and Fishing Club, Talent Circle, Table Tennis Club, Moto Club, and Football Club showed why they are the ambassadors of work-life balance in SYKES Cebu.
SYKES Cebu employees also had the chance to showcase their talents in the Dance Cover Competition. A total of 9 pairs flaunted their dancing prowess and wowed the audience with their stage presence.
In the end, Aljury Jed Maluya and Ariel Puelas Garing of Team MLBU emerged as the champions and took home Php10,000. But they are not the only winners of the night. Several lucky others won SYKES Merchandise and gift certificates during the raffle.
The night’s loudest cheer was reserved for special guest of the night, Zeus Collins, who sizzled onstage with his signature song and dance performance. (Press Release)
