Right within the tourism mecca of Maribago in Mactan with its beach resorts that serve as the hub for such water activities as snorkeling, diving, parasailing and jet skiing, top property developer Primary Homes, Inc. unveiled recently another master-planned residential community called Solare.

The development, which caters to the middle market bracket, is made up of a total of 139 single detached houses in four different designs, said Primary Homes vice president for sales and marketing Ramero Espina.

Solare is open and expansive as it sits on a 3.5-hectare property along Buyong Road in Barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City. Nearby landmarks include the Tambuli Beach Resort, Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort, and Cebu White Sands Resort and Spa. The residential community is a few minutes away from the Mactan Newtown and several other commercial areas.

Built with family in mind

“Breathing life to our tagline ‘Live the Bright Life,’ we’ve built Solare with the family in mind. We have incorporated into the development many amenities that promote the celebration of life’s special moments,” Espina added.

The residential community has easy access to major facilities and establishments, from the airport to hospitals to malls, in Mactan, he pointed out.

Espina said owning a unit at Solare does not have to cost a fortune, as it offers a wide range of housing choices with prices ranging from P2.5 million to P4.5 million and flexible payment schemes.

At this stage in the development, around 10 percent of Solare units are covered by letters of intent (LOI) from prospective customers.

Housing demand to continue

With Cebu’s economic development growing more than the national average, buoyed by rapid growths in the tourism, business process outsourcing (BPO), and manufacturing sectors, Espina said the housing demand would continue to rise.

“In Cebu, there is a big influx of workers and the same is true for Mactan. Many of them are middle-income earners. They will need homes here,” Espina added.

A Primary Homes statement said Solare is the ideal home for professionals working in manufacturing and BPO companies at the Mactan Ecozones, overseas Filipino workers, retirees, investors, and foreigners with Filipino spouses. Units are scheduled for turnover to buyers by the fourth quarter of 2017.
