Get your 2011 planner with your coffee purchases, either at Starbucks or Bo’s.

At any Starbucks stores in Cebu, customers are offered a sticker pamphlet that they must fill up to be able to redeem any one of three planner designs.

There are 17 sticker slots that need to be completed: nine from buying the Starbucks Christmas edition beverages such as Toffee Nut Latte, Peppermint Mocha, and Praline Mocha and the remaining eight from the store’s regular drinks.

Starbucks planners come in three covers: Maroon Velvet Fabric, Cool Clean Stainless Steel, and Stained Dark Wood Panels. The covers reportedly represent elements that can be found in all Starbucks stores.

The sticker pamphlet must be completed not later than January 5, 2011, but planners may be redeemed until March 6, 2011.

Bo’s, on the other hand, is giving out a frequency card that entitles customers to one sticker for every purchase of food and drink products worth P200.

A complete frequency card with 16 stickers entitles one to a Limited Edition Bo’s Coffee Mug, a Limited Edition Bo’s Coffee Doodle Book, and a Limited Edition Bo’s Coffee Colored Pencil Set.

The mug may be redeemed at the 10th sticker, doodle book at the 15th sticker, and pencil set at the 16th sticker.

Bo’s frequency card promo runs until January 30, 2011, but all the items may be redeemed as late as March 31, 2011 at any of its branches.

Belle de Jour 2011 power planner
The Belle de Jour 2011 power planner comes with a forget-me-not notebook and costs 598 pesos in bookstores.

My favorite, the Belle de Jour 2011 power planner, does not come free with coffee drink purchases and is exclusive to women.

What I love most about my BDJ is it provides me leeway to free plan or time schedule my days. It divides tasks, errands, things or projects to accomplish by day, week, or month, and its special pages double as tools for keeping track of cash flows, bills payments, events, and health concerns, among others.

The 2011 BDJ planner also comes with a forget-me-not notebook, with its provision for addresses and birthday lists, and discount coupons to such establishments as Coffee Bean, Get Laud, The White Hat, CMG, Travel Master, and other shops.

It costs 598 pesos and is available at National Bookstore.
