A global entertainment company based in New York that recently opened an office in the Philippines is holding auditions for aspiring young actors and singers.
Loi Magan, CEO of LX2 Entertainment Corp. New York and Manila, said they want to provide opportunities for talented Filipinos here and abroad.
“We are very excited to find the next big acts for music and movies. We want to create stars,” she added.
Auditions started on January 18 and will end on February 14, 2021.
Artist training program
Albert Andrada, world-renowned fashion designer and President of LX2 Entertainment Manila, said he is confident that the Filipinos possess talent that can be showcased in international platforms. The company’s Manila branch currently deals with artist management and a record label.
He added that despite challenges posed by COVID-19, they are continuing with the business as a way of helping the entertainment industry.
Those who pass the auditions will undergo the artist development training program under Andrada.
Invitation for auditions
LX2 Entertainment Corp. is inviting aspiring artists aged 18 and over to apply and submit their online application, together with 2 recent unretouched full color photos (close-up and full body), CV/Portfolio, a self-introduction video (must be taken against a white wall from mid torso to top of the head, turn on the right side every 5 seconds, face the camera and state your name, age, height and city of residence), and a link to their performance video uploaded on YouTube with title 2021 LX2 Entertainment Auditions (either a monologue or an a capella song of their choice).
