Car-owners who want to earn extra by using their vehicles to chauffeur passengers in Cebu can now sign up to be a GrabCar operator which is similar to the one offered by a limousine service online. To facilitate this, the company will have its “GrabCar Cebu Operator Sign-up Event” at the Ayala Center Cebu Active Zone on June 10, 2022 from 10am to 9pm.
Interested operators can earn up to P30,000 – or even higher – in just a month. They may opt to personally drive the unit or have an accredited driver use the car registered to Grab.
Other benefits of being a Grab operator include being able to decide when, where, and how often to drive. Online and offline training sessions are also provided in order to get the operator onboard and be able to utilize the app. Grab also provides 24/7 in-app support.
To be eligible as a GrabCar operator, the basic requirements include having a vehicle model which is 2020 or newer with comprehensive insurance, a sales invoice, and a TIN ID, among other initial requirements required by Grab.
Other requirements will be discussed at the event on Friday. Beyond the on-site schedule, interested applicants may visit the Grab Office located at Maxwell Hotel along Escario Street, Cebu City. Starting June 14, you may visit their new Grab Office located at the Pioneer House Cebu along Cardinal Rosales Avenue in Cebu Business Park.
