If you are within the IT Park in Lahug, one of the best places to work in is Figaro in The Walk.
Whenever we need to work within the vicinity, we almost always choose Figaro because of 3 things: 1) it has strong LTE signal from Smart, 2.) it serves good food, and 3) it isn’t as noisy as the nearby Starbucks, Bo’s and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf outlets.
Figaro also provides enough power outlets for its customers: perfect for the digital nomad. Based on our experience working here, the place seems to have a regular set of loyal customers: some meeting clients, others working on stuff.
What helps Figaro stand out is the good food — mostly pasta dishes — that it offers on the menu.
Its staff is also polite and cheerful.
Figaro opens at 7:30 a.m. every day and closes at 1:30 a.m. on Sundays until Thursdays and 2:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
DIGITAL NOMAD HOTSPOT RATING: 9 out of 10
The café’s Wi-Fi offers good speed. Site has strong LTE signal for Smart.
Power source: 9
The café has ample power outlets for its users – at least 12 outlets indoors for a café that can accommodate about 20 people
Work ambience: 9
No noisy teenagers shouting in conversation – a common scene in nearby Starbucks and CBTL outlets. Figaro seems to be a favorite of people who are doing work or holding meetings.
Good tasting coffee.
Figaro serves great food—especially its pasta choices.
With its location inside the IT Park, Figaro has ample parking space
It doesn’t have its own CR (the old comfort room was turned into a stock room). The Walk, however, has its own CR albeit it isn’t as clean as you’d want it to be.
