Business leaders push for mass transport system from Carcar to Danao

CEBU business leaders joined the two-day economic summit initiated by incoming president Rodrigo Duterte in Davao City recently, hoping to include local concerns in the Duterte administration’s 10-point economic agenda. The delegation was led by Cebu Chamber of Commerce Inc. president Melanie Ng and among their proposals were a mass transport system from Carcar to Cebu to Danao, and P6 to P7 billion Cebu Mananga Dam 2.

This initiative (summit) is good because it makes everyone, the business community, take part in creating the economic plans for the country. Melanie Ng, CCI president.

Police wants Jaguar’s assets seized

Days after conducting an operation that killed Jeffrey “Jaguar” Diaz, police officials are now targeting his multi-million assets and want them seized in favor of the government. PRO 7 director Sr. Supt.
