Your choice of hot drink plus a selection of delectable desserts, bai Hotel Cebu now serves its own version of the afternoon tea that was popularized by British royalty in the 1800s.
The Afternoon Tea Delight, available daily at the hotel’s Lobby Lounge, is the Cebuano version of the refreshment but with an international touch, according to bai General Manager Alfred M. Reyes.
Diners get to pick their choice of TWG Tea flavor or even ask for coffee instead to pair with quite a plentiful spread of sweet treats that includes cakes, tarts, scones, shortbread, and French macaroons.
Restaurant Manager Maricel Newman said the best way to start the afternoon refreshment is with English Breakfast tea and follow this up with Earl Grey since they set off the delectable pastries quite nicely
The Afternoon High Tea set is priced at P4,303.20 nett and it’s good for three persons. Rate is already inclusive of either 3 TWG tea in a pot or 3 cups of coffee plus the acrylic tower case used to serve the pastries and desserts. That makes it only P1,434.40 per person for an authentic afternoon tea experience.
