Since condominium living can be tight and presents a problem when you have visitors, AboitizLand, Inc. introduces the “transformative living concept” in its Persimmon Studios units at Persimmon Plus along MJ Cuenco Ave.
This involves space-saving solutions for the 24.5-square meter and 26.4 studios being acquired as fully-furnished units, said AboitizLand assistant vice president for marketing Joey R. Zamora.
“Young condo owners, who are vibrant and love to entertain, want to have friends over but are constrained by the small space. We thought of something to address this need,” he added during a recent AboitizLand event.
According to Zamora, AboitizLand, Inc. worked with Maya Franco, a well-known young interior designer, to provide innovative design concepts for small condominium spaces.
One of the ingenious solutions she came up with was a retractable bed that transforms into a sofa by day. The bed becomes part of the wall when it’s not being used, freeing much of the space for a living room where young owners can do their entertaining.
“With the bed out of the way, they can entertain about eight people comfortably,” he pointed out.
Furnished units
Zamora said they offer fully-furnished units primarily to cater to their overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) market.
There are a lot of Cebuano OFWs who are interested in investing in condominium units but want something they can rent out immediately without the headache of having to furnish them, he added.
Furnished Persimmon Studios units come with the pull-down bed, kitchen base and overhead cabinets as well as countertop, wardrobe cabinets, dining table and chairs, and a floating office desk.
A 1.5hp Window-type aircon, electric stove and range hood, 7 cubic feet refrigerator, and a 32-inch Smart LED tv are also included.
Persimmon Studios
Persimmon Studios is a two-tower development that is currently ongoing construction, said Piscataway real estate consultant Junrey A. Heredia. He added that condominium amenities and facilities are located at the sixth floor.
These include an adult lap pool and kiddie pool, clubhouse with gym, function room, game room, multipurpose court for basketball and badminton, children’s playground, landscaped open spaces, 24/7 security and CCTV system, and a commercial area in front of the residential buildings.
Only 202 24-square meter and 26-square meter studio units remain as 70 percent of the two towers have been sold off.
The price of furnished units ranges from P2.7 to P3.1 million.
