Marco Polo Plaza will be kicking off its 10th anniversary celebration by giving back.
This April 3, lace your running shoes as Marco Polo Plaza brings you Run for ERUF #TimelessAt10. There are three distance categories – 10K, 5K and 1K with registration fees of P550.00, P400.00 and P250, respectively. The 1K distance was made available for families, so that kids and their grandparents can participate in. All proceeds of the run will go to the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation.
Assembly time is 4:00 a.m. at the hotel tennis court located near the parking lot where the gun start will be at 5:00 a.m. Each participant will get a race kit, which includes a singlet, race bib and refreshments which they can claim after the run. The first 400 finishers in the 10K category will get a finisher’s medal. After the race, awarding will follow with special prizes and cash prizes for the top winners of each category.
In various hotel events, the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation or ERUF has always assisted the hotel in promoting safety and security to Marco Polo Plaza’s guests and associates. They value life, encourage volunteerism and because they serve so others might live, we are showing them how we value their efforts for the community through this run.
