Taft Properties has turned over an initial batch of units in what is currently Cebu’s tallest residential building – Horizons 101 – in special handover ceremonies.

Chris Narciso, president and chief operating officer of Taft Properties, said they will be turning over the rest of the units to homeowners within five months.

“We’re very deliberate in our schedule for the handover. We want all our homeowners to experience the Taft style of handover,” he said. Taft opened up around 800 units in Tower 1 of Horizons 101 and these are all sold out.

A team from the property developer surprised homeowners, among them the Fernandez and Gucor families, with wine for a toast during the turnover of their units. Tower 1, with its 55 floors, is Cebu’s tallest building to date and Taft;s first vertical development.

Jack Gaisano, chairman of Taft Properties, told homeowners they were getting the tallest residential tower in Cebu that was built with the expertise of the best architects, engineers, and designers at the cheapest price.

Horizons 101 ‘comfort by design’

Narciso said not only is the Horizons 101 tower the tallest in Cebu or even the whole of Visayas and Mindanao, they’re working very hard to make it the finest.

“Taft Properties is taking residential living in Cebu to the top with Horizons 101. This project has been meticulously planned and will highlight one of Taft’s core principles which is Comfort by Design,” he said.

This refers to insightful home elements that have become necessities, such as lever-type doors, fireproof premium doors, safety switches, windows with limiters, soft-closing cabinet doors, grease traps, no-spill kitchen counter, rainshower head, porcelain tiles, and well-ventilated corridors and elevator lobby.
