Though the drinks are a teeny bit pricier, the Bubble Bee Tea House at Cebu IT Park makes up for it by the spacious layout and accessible location.
My friend and I chanced upon this new branch while we were whiling our time waiting for the lunch buffet at Cafe Marco to open. It’s at the ground floor of Skyrise 3 and faces the unoccupied block across The Walk.
It serves classic and premium milk and fruit teas in two sizes priced from P80 to P110. Milk and fruit teas and fresh fruit drinks also come in slush with only a P5 to P10 difference in prices.
Milk teas
Milk teas are also served hot and other options for hot tea drinks are loose leaf and tea bags.
The creative mix series come in one size and cost P150 per glass. Among the flavors to choose from are coffee jelly, mango mania, Oreo milkshake, frosted flakes, strawberry or blueberry cheesecake, strawberry banana, and blueberry watermelon. Some more flavors are coming soon.
Drink add-ons like pearls, rainbow jelly, taro or mango pudding, basil seeds, and the like are P15 each. My friend ordered pearl milk tea and I had taro with the pudding add-on, both with only half the sugar that they normally put on. When my friend found her drink still too sweet, the counter girl was kind enough to add more tea to her glass.
Like similar establishments, you can request lesser sugar or more ice with your tea.
Bubble Bee Tea House
The roomy and colorful interior was what I liked best about this Bubble Bee Tea House at Cebu IT Park. The tables and chairs are spread out so you don’t bump into other people when you get up or sit down.
The place is well-lit and quiet so it’s perfect for when you need to do some writing or have a conversation.
